Click + Add Trip in the sidebar to create a trip — give it a name, dates, color, and an optional description.
Click a trip to open it. Drag the ⠿ handle to reorder trips in the sidebar.
Hover a trip and click ⋮ to rename, duplicate, move to a group, export, or delete it.
Toggle ↩ Add Return Trip in the trip control bar to add a separate return-journey section group.
Use Expand All / Collapse All in the control bar to toggle all groups at once.
Deleted trips land in Recently Deleted at the bottom of the sidebar — restore them anytime.

Use + Add Section to add sections — flights, lodging, car rental, restaurants, activities, transport, events, budget, trip notes, destinations, and custom. Select multiple types at once.
Each section comes pre-built with relevant fields. Click + Add Entry to add a record to any section.
Rename an entry by clicking its title inline. Rename field labels by clicking them directly.
Use + Field in an entry to add a custom field — text, date, time, number, URL, email, phone, or notes.
Drag the ⠿ handle on a field to reorder fields within an entry.
Each entry has ↓ export and ↑ import buttons to save or load individual entries as .json files.
Hover a section header to rename it, share it, export it, import into it, or delete it.
Drag the ⠿ handle on a section to reorder it — drag freely into or out of groups.

Use + Add Group to create a collapsible section group — great for organizing by day, city, or leg of a trip.
Groups can be nested inside other groups for multi-level itineraries.
Click a group header to expand or collapse it.
Drag any section into a group by dragging its ⠿ handle — sections move freely between groups at any nesting level.

Every trip, section, group, and entry has a Share button that generates clean, formatted plaintext — ready to copy into an email, message, or note.
Sharing never uploads anything — your data never leaves your device.

Add a Destinations section to any trip to track the places you're visiting — city, country, dates, and notes.
Expand Destination Resources on any destination for instant search links: Google, Maps, TripAdvisor, Viator, GetYourGuide, Yelp, Airbnb, and Hotels.
Use 🔍 Explore in the top bar or welcome screen to look up any place — enter a city, a country, or both.

Sidebar — Export Trips / Import Trips backs up or restores your entire workspace as a single .json file. Import supports Replace (overwrite) or Merge (add alongside).
Trip header — export or import a single trip as a .json file.
Section / Group header — export or import individual sections and groups.
Entry controls — each entry has a ↓ (export) and ↑ (import) button to save or restore individual entries.
All imports are version-tolerant — files exported from older versions of RoamKit will always import cleanly, even after app updates.

All data is stored locally in your browser's storage — nothing is ever sent to a server.
Clearing your browser data will erase your trips. Use Export Trips regularly to keep a backup.
Use ⚠ Reset RoamKit at the bottom of the sidebar to wipe everything and start fresh (double confirmation required).
